Meet the most popular consumer drone on the market today. It comes from DJI and it is Phantom series drone. It weighs almost 3 lbs, and if it fell out of the sky, it would likely crush your skull. But a new drone from Vantage Robotics, the Snap, claims to be the safest consumer drone. Besides all mentioned, they convince us that it is very easy to fly.
This drone is controlled by a smart phone or tablet. Just press a button on the Snap’s app, and your drone is ready to fly. Tilt the phone forward and it’ll zip out of your hand and into the sky. If you tilt your smartphone or tablet to the right Drone goes right. Controlling this drone is easy as playing a game on your phone. Vantage’s custom-made guards around the propeller blades make it looks like bike wheels, but it is for security reasons. In that way you won’t crash your drone easily and you can’t harm someone with propellers.
The drone’s propeller base folds up, allowing it to fit in even the smallest backpack. Fisher reminded us of the adage that the best camera is the one you have on you, saying he wanted to build a drone that was small enough and easy enough to operate that you could carry it with you all the time. This is quite good information especially for those people who like to making good videos from the air. In that way you don’t need to position camera before starting your flight.
